23andMe is releasing a new traits test, likely to keep up with Ancestry, and the tests just went on sale for $20 less than the normal price. I went ahead and snagged a few, which arrived last week, but I've been too busy to do anything with them.

I was talking to my non-biological father today about getting my brother's test to him, and my father asked me if he could take one. Absolutely! Oh, the cuntasaurus is going to be pissed now! He's convinced the error is on his side somehow, even though I explained that that just isn't very likely. Poor guy.

The three tests have now been registered and should be submitted soon. One to my non-biological father, one to my little brother, and one to a maternal cousin to see if I can start sorting out some of this weirdness on that side.

Speaking of weirdness on the maternal side, here's a new fun fact I gathered. This cousin, John, is the son of Bonnie, who is supposed to be my grandfather's sister, Bonnie. There were ten siblings total. Bonnie, to my knowledge, had four kids: Tammy, Tony, Paul, and John. John just told me that Tammy isn't his sister; she's his cousin. Apparently, she belonged to Dell, another of the siblings. Dell died before I was born, but I only knew of one child. Of those ten siblings, only three are still alive. Pete, one of the oldest, is not all there mentally any longer; John informed me that Pete's cheese has slid off his cracker. The youngest two, Russell and Judy, are also still alive.

Meanwhile, my mother just dropped the hint yesterday of where her next "I'm just grieving too much to talk about this" excuse will originate, speaking of Uncle Russell. Uncle Russell has always had a certain way with the ladies. I know of three marriages and eight kids, but I don't doubt there's more. He's definitely Ollie's son. Friday night, the cuntasaurus texted me to inform me that a missing persons report had been filed, as Russell had been missing 32 hours. He had not taken his heart, blood pressure, and diabetes (type 2) medications in 4 days, and his cell phone was found in a retail parking lot. No worries though. The following morning, he was found safe, but kindly asked that no one post anything on social media because he wanted the girlfriend to think he was still missing. Ex-girlfriend, now, I suppose. Apparently she was the problem. Russell is a lot of things, but he's no dummy. I guess he finally found himself a lady that can out-crazy him!
